| 20041024// Last night I had a really weird dream - I was in a prairie caring a large format camera alone following a herd of donkeys when suddenly the sky turns menacing and to the left of me starts to drizzle. So I lay down the camera on top of an ant mount. I see the ants (those giant red ones) crawling their way up the tripod and I don't do a thing. When the ants are near the top of the pod, the donkeys are in front of me and one of them says 'save us'. That's it - that was my dream. I'm trying to psychoanalyze my dream and all I can come up with is: I would really like to have a large format camera. Those giant dual monitor desktops would come out so much snappier and with greater detail. If anybody out there has a rusty old view camera and would like to donate it, let me know :) |
